The Gaspereau White Rock takes our white wine profile in a whole new direction. White Rock 2019 is a blend of predominantly estate-grown varieties. Each varietal wine was barrel-fermented separately, taken through malo-lactic fermentation and aged in French oak barrels for over a year.
It has a very aromatic nose of both tropical fruit and intergraded oak that can only come from wines that were made from aromatic varieties and fermented and aged in mature oak barrels. Notes of mango and apricot are expressed initially and are rounded out with soft and integrated vanilla and oak notes.
The tropical aromatic profile observed on the nose carries through to the palate, accompanied by soft acidity and tannins with an elegant mouthfeel.
