The distillers at Ironworks Distillery took a batch of their year-old amber rum blended it with a generous measure of local maple syrup and put the entire concoction into a newly emptied American Oak bourbon barrel from Kentucky. After several months, they found the combination to be completely delightful and thus, an entirely new rum was born - Ironworks Maple Rum. Add it to coffee or hot apple cider for a yummy warm up.
