This latest release has been finished in ex-peach saison beer barrels from Tanner & Co Brewery in Chester Basin, NS.

Fermented with two different strains of malted barley, one Canadian and a peated version from the UK, Heart Iron Whisky has spent three years ageing in a freshly emptied American Bourbon Barrel. Dried fruits, brown sugar, with hints of bourbon on the nose, it is light and sweet with earthy undertones, dates and candied fig, brown sugar, and a subtle peat smoke finish on the tongue. Try it neat with just a touch of water to expand the flavour.

Heart Iron Single Malt Whisky was awarded a Gold Medal standing at the Canadian Artisan Spirits Awards.
