2024 L’Acadie
Tasting Notes:
This dry light-to-medium-bodied wine features crisp aromas of apple and pear, with palate-buzzing citrus flavours. While L’Acadie is known for its racy acidity, this wine has a pleasing buttery finish that balances its
complexity.
Pairing Suggestions:
L’Acadie Blanc is great on its own as an aperitif or as an accompaniment
to your favourite Nova Scotian seafood dish, white meats, or milder cheeses. Serve chilled.

Winemaker’s Notes:
L’Acadie Blanc has the well-earned status of being Nova Scotia’s
signature varietal. Originally developed in Ontario but brought to Nova
Scotia in the early 1980s, the grape was named on our vineyard after the Acadians who settled in Grand Pré over 400 years ago.
Compared to 2023, 2024 was an excellent growing season. Aside
from some rain during flowering and heavy downpours in early July,
the heat generated during summer allowed for some of the highest
sugar levels in years, leading to excellent concentration of flavours.
Acid levels were also higher than in 2023 but are supported by slightly
higher alcohol levels, resulting in a vibrant wine that is well-balanced.
