This wine displays a medium-body with a complex character. Pleasant aromas of fresh cut hay are complemented by notes of honeyed pear, green apple, and bright citrus. This dry wine has a rich and slightly buttery flavour balanced by a fresh and lively acidity.

L’Acadie Blanc is great on its own as an aperitif, or as an accompaniment to your favorite Nova Scotian seafood dish, white meats, or milder cheeses. Serve chilled.

Winemaker’s Notes:
L’Acadie Blanc has the well-earned status of being Nova Scotia’s signature varietal. Originally developed in Ontario but brought to Nova Scotia in the early 1980s, the grape named on our vineyard after the Acadians that settled in Grand Pré over 400 years ago.
It is used extensively in blends like Tidal Bay as well as for traditional method sparkling wines, but it also works nicely as a single varietal wine. On its own, L’Acadie Blanc displays a depth of flavour and brightness unique to Nova Scotia, serving as an excellent showcase of our coastal terroir.
